Wayne Marriott is an experienced ADR professional now available for ODR. Wayne Marriott worked for FairWay Resolution Limited (FairWay, formerly Dispute Resolution Services DRSL) for more than 4 years engaged with many jurisdictions including: personal injury insurance claims; real estate agency complaints; family court mediation; earthquake insurance disputes and issues associated with telecommunications and financial service advisors. His role involved product development and implementation. Wayne has worked in a management / leadership capacity since 2006. Most recently he joined the International Ombudsman Association and begun training in the role of organisational ombudsman. He has developed and implemented organisational conflict coaching services and workplace facilitation in the private sector. He has more than 14 years experience as a mediator. Prior to employment with DRSL, his roles within the Department of Building and Housing involved tenancy and weather tight homes disputes. His role as team leader was a grounded management experience focusing on mediator development and coaching. He has undertaken many additional projects within the public sector associated with change management and demonstrated leadership in human resource management. Wayne has a deep passion for the welfare and wellbeing of his country. His proven skills and experience in community development / community action and his ability to relate to people from a variety of social spectra is enhanced by the application of exceptional management practice, and interpersonal skills. With empowerment and equity as key virtues, the framework for community development and social marketing provide an invaluable guide to his work ethic. His family has been a cornerstone to his leadership qualities as he has endeavoured to assist the community, serving on a variety of school boards, not-for-profit organisations and community groups and working within a political environment.His special interest in disability issues was borne from his personal experience with his two children with disabilities.
